Portugal, the hidden pearl of Europe!

This is without a doubt one of our most surprising journeys in Southern Europe. During our Northern Portugal trip, we'll discover authentic Portugal and its exceptionally hospitable people. We'll drive through rolling hills and past endless vineyards in the Douro Valley.

This 4x4 tour is all about beautiful routes through unspoiled nature and authentic villages, combined with discovering traditional Portuguese cuisine.

During our travels in Portugal, we consciously seek a balance between driving and exploring . Each day we explore a different area, and our guide will tell you more about the region, its customs, and its inhabitants. Along the way, we'll make various excursions: we'll visit Roman baths, sample local liqueurs and delicacies, discover ancient cave paintings, and, of course, visit a traditional winery—including a tasting! We'll also unravel the story behind the mysterious, masked men of the Caretos .

During this trip you will sleep in your own (roof) tent and we will prepare dinner together, although we will also get to know the authentic Portuguese cuisine in detail.

José, our local guide, takes us to the smallest, authentic restaurants where only locals eat. On the first and last evenings, we dine together at a local restaurant, where grandmother's recipes are the key to delicious dishes. José is a true nature lover and photographer and speaks passionately and extensively about nature and local customs.

On April 5th, you'll arrive at Cepo Verde campsite in Bragança. The tour begins on April 6th. On April 11th, we'll conclude the trip with dinner at a hotel . On April 12th, we'll say goodbye after breakfast.

We even have the option to add 2 extra days if you can't get enough of this beautiful country!
